Job summary

Cleveland Wheel and Brake Systems (CWBS) is seeking a Senior Electrical Systems Engineer to lead complex electrical architectures for braking and control systems. You will guide cross-functional teams, create critical documentation, and drive reliability analyses while aligning with aerospace standards.

Ideal candidates have 6+ years of electro-mechanical systems experience, strong modeling skills in Simulink, and a track record of independent, high-impact engineering work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 6+ years of engineering experience; Master’s degree preferred.
• Expert knowledge in electro-mechanical systems and controls.
• Works with a high degree of independence.

Responsibilities

• Develop advanced electrical system architectures and design solutions for complex engineering challenges.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams during system integration and design development.
• Create, review and approve electrical designs, analysis results, and technical documentation.
• Conduct advanced failure mode analysis and implement robust engineering solutions.
• Influence engineering design standards, safety practices, and quality guidelines across projects.
• Mentor engineers and support development of technical capability across the team.
• Support program technical reviews and strategic engineering initiatives.
