Job summary

With limited direction, you will model, develop requirements, present results to engineering teams, and may lead a project while ensuring strict confidentiality and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering or related field with progressive experience
• Must possess DOD Secret security clearance with potential upgrade to Top Secret
• Extensive expertise in warhead engineering principles, planning and leading workloads
• Significant structural analytical experience using Ansys, Simcenter and NASTRAN

Responsibilities

• Assess and/or develop requirements for missile, projectile, or small satellite structures or thermal analyses.
• Serve as primary point of contact for structural or thermal analyses.
• Support planning, budgeting, and status of analyses tasks.
• Collaborate with engineering and program management teams.
• Provide documentation and technical presentations as required.
• Develop innovative engineering solutions focused on manufacturability.
• Lead and mentor staff on challenging structural/thermal problems.
• Represent the company as a prime technical contact to customers or regulators.
