Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth seeks an Aeronautical Engineer Sr. to drive the integration and design synthesis of the JASSM XR weapon system within a multi-disciplinary team. The role emphasizes collaboration across aerodynamics, structures, propulsion, and electronics to deliver advanced weapon platforms.

You will mentor junior engineers, coordinate with LM teams and suppliers, and contribute to a fast-paced development environment with a strong culture of innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or above Degree in an Engineering Discipline.
• Experience in airframe structure design and analysis.
• Experience with metallic and/or composite design.
• Experience with CATIA V5 and 3DX.

Responsibilities

• Drive integration and design synthesis of the JASSM XR weapon system across multiple disciplines.
• Lead cross-disciplinary system trade studies to optimize performance and cost.
• Coordinate with fabrication, MRB, quality, and supply-chain teams for production readiness.
• Generate and present technical materials for customers and internal stakeholders.
• Mentor early-career engineers and promote LM culture.
