Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Fort Worth is seeking an Aeronautical Engineer Senior Staff to investigate anomalies, develop technical solutions, and coordinate release dispositions for critical platform components. You will interface with multiple cross-functional groups to drive improvements and ensure timely decisions that consider financial impacts.

The role requires a strong background in aircraft design, top-secret clearance, and experience with CAD tools such as CATIA and Unigraphics.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Mechanical, Aeronautical or Civil Engineering or related field.
• Active Top-Secret clearance and ability to obtain Special Access Program access.
• Experience with aircraft design, assembly, or repair.
• Experience with 3-D CAD tools such as CATIA, SolidWorks, Pro/ENGINEER, Unigraphics.

Responsibilities

• Investigate anomalies on high-performance platform parts, assemblies, installations, and finishes.
• Develop and coordinate technical solutions and release dispositions for identified discrepancies.
• Interface with Stress/Durability, Quality Assurance, Structures, Systems Design, Safety, Materials and Processes, and Flight Sciences.
• Drive process improvements, embed best practices, and coordinate lessons learned and corrective actions.
