Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Project Construction Manager to oversee construction of centrally managed projects, ensuring safety, quality, and budget adherence. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage schedules, and communicate with property owners and customers to maintain strong relationships.

The role emphasizes safety leadership, corrective actions, and collaboration across engineering, contract management, and field staff. Requires PM experience and OSHA-certified qualifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and 4-7 years of aerial distribution construction experience, or a high school diploma with 6-9 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of Project Management concepts or principles.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and regulations.
• Project Management experience.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proven analytical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build consensus, establish trust, communicate effectively, and foster culture change.
• Demonstrated business acumen and customer awareness.
• Certifications within first year: LOTO and OSHA 30.

Responsibilities

• Manage project construction to ensure work is within budget, on schedule, and meets standards; liaison with owners and customers.
• Coordinate internal and external construction resources to maximize productivity and safety; review engineering drawings for constructability issues.
• Act as primary communicator between Project Management and work groups to execute schedule and manage scope and dollars.
• Monitor safety, perform weekly observations, assist in root cause investigations, and ensure proper documentation.
• Participate in training and meetings; provide updates and notes in project systems.
• Engage stakeholders and lead safety briefings and site visits, ensuring protocols are understood.
