Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Lead Certification AEH Engineer to drive AEH certification efforts, review documents and support COS matters across the PAAC program. You will interface with FAA and other Certification Authorities, provide regulatory guidance to product teams and help implement new airworthiness standards.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering (Aerospace or equivalent), 5+ years in ASIC/FPGA HDL design/verification or AEH liaison work, and US

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Aerospace or equivalent discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in ASIC/FGPA HDL design/verification and/or AEH certification liaison experience.
• A US Citizen or permanent resident due to export control and ITAR restrictions.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve AEH related certification documents and processes in accordance with regulations and standards.
• Support COS matters by interfacing with COEs, ISC, ODA, HI Leadership, OEMs and Certification Authorities.
• Provide certification guidance to product groups for regulatory compliance in AEH development areas.
• Perform and/or support AEH audits for regulatory compliance, special conditions and contractual obligations.
• Support deployment of new airworthiness regulations/standards and resolution of systemic certification findings.
• Maintain relationships with national and international Certification Authorities and support industry working groups.
