Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a seasoned AEH certification engineer to lead certification activities for airborne hardware. You will review certification documents, liaise with authorities, and guide product teams on AEH regulatory compliance, including audits and process improvements.

The role requires deep knowledge of FAA DO-254 guidance, DER/ODA experience, and the ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders while navigating export-control requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Aerospace or equivalent discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in ASIC/FPGA HDL design/verification and/or AEH certification liaison.
• U.S. citizen or permanent resident due to export control requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve AEH certification documents per regulations and standards.
• Support COS matters by interfacing with COEs, ISC, ODA, and authorities.
• Provide certification guidance to product groups for AEH compliance.
• Perform or support AEH audits for regulatory and contractual obligations.
• Support new airworthiness regs/standards and resolve findings in certification processes.
• Maintain relationships with Certification Authorities and participate in industry groups.
• Support PAAC management OS initiatives.
