The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field with 8+ years of DoD/DoN experience, US citizenship, and an active secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics or related technical field; 8+ years DoD/DoN experience.
• US citizenship and an active secret clearance (or higher).
• Experience with AEGIS Combat Systems and radar/physics understanding.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or equivalent for data analysis.
• Travel to test and operational sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide systems engineering support for development of new AEGIS and ABMD baselines.
• Analyze system performance data and recommend design or performance improvements.
• Develop and maintain MATLAB-based tools for data processing and analysis.
• Support certification processes, flight tests, and configuration control boards with documentation and reporting.
• Assist with operational readiness reporting and baseline certification efforts.
• Contribute to improvements in data collection methodologies and analytical tools.
