Job summary
TSC is seeking an AEGIS Systems Engineer in Dahlgren, VA, supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). This role centers on gathering, processing, and analyzing data to assess system performance against certification and operational requirements.
Responsibilities include providing systems engineering support for new AEGIS baselines, analyzing data to recommend improvements, developing MATLAB-based tools, supporting certification and flight tests, and maintaining
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, physics or related technical field; 8+ years of DoD/DoN experience.
- US citizenship with active secret clearance or higher.
- Experience with AEGIS Combat Systems and radar engineering.
- Strong systems engineering, test planning and performance analysis background.
- Willingness to travel to test and operational sites.
Responsibilities
- Provide systems engineering support for new AEGIS baselines.
- Analyze system performance data and recommend improvements.
- Develop MATLAB-based data processing and analysis tools.
- Support certification, flight tests and documentation for program development.
- Assist with operational readiness reporting and baseline certification.
- Improve data collection methodologies and analytical tools.
