Job summary

Gibbs & Cox, a Leidos subsidiary, is seeking a skilled AEGIS SPY Radar Subject Matter Expert and Tactical/Technical Trainer to join the team in Dahlgren, VA. You will develop and deliver combat systems training for Sailors, focusing on tactical employment of the AEGIS platform and related weapons systems.

Ideal candidates have four+ years of U.S. Navy surface warfare experience, a Secret clearance, and strong written/oral communication skills.

Qualifications

Minimum of four (4) years of U.S. Navy surface warfare combat systems experience.
U.S. Citizenship and Active Secret Security Clearance are required.
Ability to write clear, concise technical correspondence documenting reviews and comments.
Articulate in oral and written presentations; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, organize, and conduct combat systems training for personnel assigned to AEGIS Platforms.
Train Sailors in tactical and operational employment of the AEGIS combat system and associated weapons systems.
Review and analyze Aegis Combat System capabilities and Navy doctrine.
Integrate doctrine with the ship's Combat Systems in dynamic operational environments.
