Job summary

Edgewater Technical Associates seeks qualified candidates for an Advisory Project (Design) Engineer to support the Savannah River Site. The role requires leading and coordinating complex engineering tasks, mentoring staff, and ensuring adherence to schedules and budgets across disciplines.

Typically, candidates possess advanced degrees with extensive experience in engineering leadership, program management, and technical communication. DOE-related experience and U.S. citizenship are preferred.

Qualifications

• Provide overall engineering and design direction for assigned projects.
• Lead engineering teams and manage project priorities and budgets.
• Coordinate design criteria and resource forecasts across disciplines.
• Mentor junior engineers and ensure quality and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Initiate technical programs and recommend solutions to complex problems.
• Develop schedules, budgets, and staffing plans for major tasks.
• Communicate results to management and external oversight groups.
• Represent SRNS and Edgewater in technical forums and national organizations.
