Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. is seeking an Advisory/Project Engineer to support Savannah River Nuclear Solutions in Aiken, SC.

The candidate will integrate engineering activities, establish design criteria, forecast resources, and manage schedules and budgets for critical DOE projects. The role requires extensive engineering leadership and project controls experience, with a focus on delivering complex solutions across disciplines while maintaining regulatory and safety standards.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or current registration as a Professional Engineer.
• 15–20 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal contract security requirements.
• Experience providing engineering direction, leadership and management for projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide staff augmentation support to SRNS and manage engineering activities for assigned projects.
• Develop design criteria, resource forecasts, schedules, and priorities.
• Apply project controls and EVMS methods to monitor cost and schedule.
• Lead cross-disciplinary teams and communicate results to management and oversight bodies.
