Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and four years' related experience required.
• Directly related advising experience preferred (1+ year).
• Experience advising students in special programs or cohorts.
• Understanding of student development theory and advising principles.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong data management, organization, and communication skills.
• Experience with student planning tools such as Schedule Builder, DegreeWorks.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level academic advisement for onboarding, retention, and transition.
• Supervise part-time staff and guide onboarding and advisement functions.
• Guide students through registration using Schedule Builder and DegreeWorks.
• Coordinate referrals to Learning Center, Counseling, and support services.
• Develop onboarding workshops and contribute to program planning.
• Escalate complex advisement cases and collaborate on policy improvement.
• Analyze data, generate reports, and support continuous onboarding improvements.
