Job summary

Factory Advisors is seeking a Senior Advisor to partner with manufacturing leaders, solve operational challenges, and deliver measurable results as part of our Global Advisory Network. You will operate as an independent contractor (LLC or S‑Corp) and travel up to 90% across the US, often onsite where the action happens.

• 15+ years in relevant operational, manufacturing, or industrial leadership roles.
• Proven track record in driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, and team performance.
• Strong communicator, adaptable problem-solver, and active listener who thrives in challenging environments.
• Self-starter who works independently while building collaborative relationships with clients and peers.
• Ability to operate as an independent consultant via LLC or S‑Corp.

• Develop specialized knowledge and apply it to manage complex components of client projects.
• Collaborate in small teams to design strategies, capabilities, systems, and processes that deliver measurable results.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, guiding client department managers through improved processes and organizational change.
• Lead and support client engagements, contributing to project planning, organization, and execution.
• Analyze and improve operations by observing on-site processes and evaluating data.
• Develop solutions and best practices to optimize performance and reduce risks.
• Create high-impact deliverables, including project plans, cost-benefit analyses, and reports.
• Support business development through proposals, pricing models, and client research.
• Coach and mentor client teams to implement new industry approaches.
