Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Modeling, Forecasting, and Economic Analysis, Senior Advisor to advance its Advanced Energy Solutions portfolio. You will develop performance tracking tools, enhance forecasting methodologies, and improve business processes to support data-driven decisions and portfolio oversight.

Qualifications

• Ten or more years of modeling, forecasting or economic analysis and reporting.
• Strong business acumen and energy efficiency experience and ability to advise leadership.
• Excellent communication, presentation and facilitation skills for executive audiences.
• Knowledge of utility and energy efficiency regulatory policies.

Responsibilities

• Ensures forecasts incorporate new distributed energy resource forecasts and policies.
• Drives studies to determine financial and operational impact of changes in assets or environment.
• Delivers applied economic analysis and reporting on market performance and efficiency.
• Participates in designing framework to quantify consumer detriment in pricing.
• Uses benchmarking to identify pricing inefficiencies and proposes solutions.
• Collaborates with stakeholders on forecast methodology and analysis.
• Assesses viability of new investments and analyzes alternative energy policy approaches.
• Sets up in-house software and tools translating long-term resources into energy production.
• Collaborates with forecasters to improve load and price forecasts.
• Protects and manages sensitive data with high standards of conduct.
