Job summary

Southern California Edison seeks a Financial Risk & Forecasting Advisor to strengthen the company's financial health by assessing the creditworthiness of large commercial customers and market participants. You will develop forecasting models and work directly with executive representatives to secure financial assurances that mitigate risk and protect assets.

You will lead complex financial analyses, evaluate capital projects, and provide cross-functional guidance to optimize portfolio strategy

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in financial planning, modeling and/or forecasting.
• Master's degree in Finance, Economics, MBA, Statistics, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred.
• Experience with commercial credit underwriting/public company financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Project manages efforts and coordinates involvement from subject matter experts and support organizations for the unit or enterprise.
• Conducts ad hoc analysis supporting financial planning or strategic analysis workstreams.
• Leads development and validation of complex financial models and ensures accuracy of results.
• Reviews spending projections and derives utility revenue requirements and related analyses.
• Assesses capital project business cases and recommends funding approved by stakeholders.
