Job description

Senior Advisor/ Director of Sales | Stealth Wealth Management

We is seeking an accomplished Senior Advisor/ Director of Sales to serve as a producing advisor and hands‑on leader for an established team of financial professionals.

This is a player‑coach position for someone who can personally develop and manage high‑net‑worth client relationships while coaching other advisors, reinforcing sales discipline, and creating consistent accountability across the team. The successful candidate will inherit a capable group that is already performing well. The opportunity is to help that team become even more consistent, productive, and effective while building a meaningful personal book of business.

The role is expected to devote approximately 10 to 15 hours per week to leadership, coaching, and sales accountability. The remainder of the position will focus on new client development, relationship management, financial planning, and personal production.

This is an especially strong opportunity for a high‑performing advisor who wants meaningful leadership responsibility without taking on the operational demands of owning and running an independent firm.

What You’ll Do:
Client Development and Personal Production
  • Develop new relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, families, business owners, and prospective private clients.
  • Manage the full business‑development process, including prospecting, discovery, solution development, closing, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Cultivate opportunities through company‑generated leads, referrals, professional networking, community involvement, and personal relationships.
  • Build trusted relationships with business owners who may be approaching a liquidity event or other significant financial transition.
  • Maintain and grow a personal book of business through proactive service, advice, and relationship development.
  • Collaborate with the firm’s in‑house marketing team on events, branding initiatives, and lead‑generation opportunities.
  • Participate in occasional client, networking, or business‑development events outside standard office hours.
Advisor Leadership and Sales Coaching
  • Provide accessible, hands‑on leadership to an established team of financial advisors.
  • Coach advisors on sales execution, client development, and relationship‑building strategies.
  • Establish consistent accountability around sales activity, pipeline movement, and business‑development goals.
  • Reinforce timely and accurate use of Salesforce and other internal sales processes.
  • Help advisors identify development opportunities and improve their individual performance.
  • Answer questions, provide guidance, and serve as a knowledgeable resource for complex client and prospect situations.
  • Partner with executive leadership to strengthen the organization’s sales culture and support continued growth.
  • Lead by example through personal production, strong follow‑through, and a commitment to measurable results.
Sophisticated Wealth Advice
  • Deliver comprehensive advice that extends beyond standardized investment models.
  • Evaluate client needs across investment allocation, tax planning, financial planning, and long‑term wealth strategy.
  • Create thoughtful, individualized recommendations for high‑net‑worth clients with complex financial circumstances.
  • Clearly communicate sophisticated financial concepts and recommendations to clients and prospects.
  • Coordinate with internal colleagues and resources to provide a cohesive client experience.
What We’re Looking For:
Required Qualifications
  • An active Series 65 or Series 66 license.
  • A proven track record of personal sales success within wealth management, investment advisory services, or a closely related financial‑services environment.
  • Demonstrated success originating, developing, and closing new client relationships.
  • Experience working with high‑net‑worth individuals, families, business owners, or comparable sophisticated clients.
  • Strong knowledge of investment allocation, financial planning, and tax‑aware wealth strategies.
  • The ability to discuss recent, measurable production, including:
    • New client relationships personally originated and closed.
    • Average size of recently acquired client relationships.
    • Performance relative to individual goals or comparable peers.
  • Strong relationship‑management and consultative sales capabilities.
  • Ability to work on‑site in the Denver Tech Center.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience leading, coaching, mentoring, or developing financial advisors or sales professionals.
  • A record of holding professionals accountable to activity, pipeline, and production expectations.
  • CFP or CFA designation.
  • Experience advising private clients with $10 million or more in investable assets, or business owners approaching liquidity events.
  • An existing portable book of business or client relationships that could potentially follow the advisor.
  • An existing book of business is welcome but not required. Candidates will be considered based on their advisory sophistication, recent sales performance, client‑development capabilities, and leadership potential.
The Successful Candidate:

The right person is an accomplished advisor who remains driven to originate and close business. They are energized by measurable goals and can demonstrate what they have personally produced, particularly within the past year. They also possess the credibility and judgment to coach other experienced advisors. They understand that effective leadership is not about micromanaging a capable team. It is about setting expectations, maintaining accountability, remaining available, sharing expertise, and helping strong professionals continue to improve. This individual will be comfortable operating in an environment where advisors are expected to be well‑rounded. Success requires more than placing clients into standardized portfolios. The Senior Wealth Advisor / Director of Sales must be capable of navigating investment allocation, financial planning, tax considerations, and the needs of sophisticated high‑net‑worth clients.

Compensation Structure:

This position combines a leadership salary with uncapped advisor production compensation.

Base salary: $100,000 - $175,000 (based on experience, leadership capabilities, advisory sophistication, and overall fit.)

Existing book of business: Candidates bringing portable relationships may receive a separately negotiated and highly competitive revenue‑sharing arrangement.

Why Join the Team:

Join an established team of successful, high‑performing advisors who are already delivering results, allowing you to step into a meaningful leadership opportunity without inheriting a struggling practice. In this role, you’ll spend the majority of your time advising clients, building relationships, and driving revenue while benefiting from robust lead‑generation support through an in‑house marketing team. You’ll have access to multiple business development channels, including marketing campaigns, events, networking opportunities, and referrals, enabling you to grow a substantial personal book of business with significant long‑term income potential. At the same time, you’ll play a key role in shaping advisor development and sales accountability, all while remaining an active producer. This position offers the rewards and earning potential of a successful financial advisor career without the challenges of operating an independent wealth management business.
