Job summary

ACLU - National Office in New York, NY seeks a Senior Advisor, Affiliate Legal Programs to guide affiliate Legal Directors and sustain high-quality civil liberties programs across the federation. Qualifications

• J.D. required; leadership experience in civil liberties legal programs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a senior advisor to affiliate Executive Directors and Legal Directors, shaping legal programs to fit affiliates' contexts.
• Help affiliates set ambitious goals and implement improvements in legal strategy, docket development, and staffing.
• Collaborate with national and affiliate teams to align legal work with advocacy, communications, and organizing.
