The ACLU seeks an Undergraduate or Graduate Intern for the Affiliate Support and Nationwide Initiatives Department's ASNI Program and Strategy Team at the ACLU New York National office. This full-time internship can be hybrid or remote and is open to matriculated students who will be rising seniors in Fall 2027, based in the U.S.

Qualificações

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student and rising senior starting Fall 2027.
• Based in the U.S. for the entire duration of internship.
• Experience assisting with administrative tasks in an office setting, preferably nonprofit.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong organization and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate multistate initiatives including the Southern Collective and the Battlegrounds Initiative.
• Support the Southern Legal Internship Program (SLIP).
• Roll out guides, toolkits, playbooks, and other resources for affiliate knowledge and learning.
• Collaborate with advocacy/legislative, organizing, legal, communications and digital teams to ensure organized projects.
• Draft preliminary language for deliverables and prepare internal communications and presentations.
• Support survey data collection and analysis.
• Create and maintain resource banks for advocacy, legislative, organizing, legal, communications, and digital program management.
• Assist with organizing virtual/hybrid workshops and convenings of ACLU affiliates.
• Assist with tasks to ensure the grants portfolio and budget are well-organized.
