Job summary

ArentFox Schiff LLP is seeking a Staff Attorney to join its Advertising team in its Washington, DC, New York, or San Francisco office. The ideal candidate will have 5 to 7+ years of experience advising clients on advertising and marketing law, including claim substantiation, consumer protection, and promotional matters.

Experience with FTC, FDA, and state attorney general investigations is a plus, and NAD/NARB/CARU familiarity is valued. This is a non-partnership-track position.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years of experience advising clients on advertising and marketing law.
• Experience with FTC, FDA, and state AG investigations and enforcement matters is a plus.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and client counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Support a fast-paced Advertising & Promotions practice representing major national and international brands.
• Review and advise on advertising, marketing materials, and campaigns for compliance.
• Counsel clients on investigations and enforcement matters and coordinate with NAD/NARB/CARU processes.
