Job summary

ArentFox Schiff LLP seeks a Staff Attorney to join its Advertising team in its Washington, DC, New York, or San Francisco office. The ideal candidate has 5–7+ years of experience in advertising and marketing law, handling FTC/FDA matters, consumer protection and enforcement, and review of advertising materials.

This is a non-partnership-track, salaried role with a competitive base salary and bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• 5–7+ years advising clients on advertising and marketing law.
• Experience with FTC, FDA, and state AG investigations and enforcement.
• Strong analytical, drafting, and client counseling skills.
• Bar admission in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on advertising and marketing law, including substantiation and compliance.
• Counsel clients on investigations and enforcement matters (FTC, FDA, NAD, etc.).
• Review advertising and promotional materials for risk and compliance.
• Support matters before NAD, NARB, CARU as needed.
