Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace seeks a software test professional to support requirement analysis, test strategy and design, and formal testing activities for avionics software. You will develop, review, execute and debug tests, provide certification support, and collaborate with software, systems engineering and QA teams to deliver safe, reliable and scalable flight software aligned with DO-178 standards.

• Requirement Analysis
• Test Strategy & Design to support Honeywell Aerospace's products and solutions
• Test Development, Reviews, Execution & Debug
• Formal Testing (RFS & SC)
• Certification Support
• Support the Test leads and Project Engineers in planning, TRR, Reviews and customer meetings.
• Support on technical coordination and leadership guidance with Tools, Test methodologies, Test Qual activities, etc.
• Providing verification deliverables, as per DO-178 / SW V&V CoE Process to the Program Lead
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Software and systems engineering, project Engineering, and quality assurance to deliver high-quality software products.
• Identify and implement software improvements and innovations to enhance product performance, scalability, and security.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical disciplines such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• 8 years of experience in Software/Requirement testing
• Knowledge of software design principles, algorithms, and data structures
• Experience and knowledge of programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python
• Experience with software development tools, version control systems, and agile methodologies
