Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of manufacturing/process engineering experience.
• Hands-on CNC machining, programming, tooling and process improvement experience.
• Experience with industrial automation including PLC/HMI, robotics, vision, or motion systems.
• Proven Lean, continuous improvement or productivity initiative success with measurable results.
• Strong project leadership including equipment installation, commissioning and validation.
• Proficiency with data analysis and statistical methods (SPC, DOE).
• Able to communicate across functions and sites; multi-site experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize high-tolerance CNC machining, tooling, fixturing, and process capability to improve quality and cost.
• Lead automation and controls initiatives (robotics, PLC/HMI, vision, motion).
• Identify and deploy advanced manufacturing technologies to boost productivity and safety.
• Apply Lean, Six Sigma, DOE, and SPC to reduce waste and improve process performance.
• Establish standard processes and technical playbooks across sites.
• Lead capital equipment and process upgrade projects from business case through installation and validation.
• Maintain and improve manufacturing documentation (SOPs, routings, CNC programs).
• Provide shop-floor technical support and drive trials to improve OEE, scrap, and rework.
• Lead cross-functional project teams and mentor engineers/technicians.
