Job summary

UF Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider III to deliver direct patient care in a subspecialty outpatient and/or inpatient setting in Jacksonville, FL. The APP will work under supervision by a physician and may perform procedures with a focus on complex cases and high-acuity patients.

Requirements include a Master’s degree (Nurse Practitioner or PA), Florida/Georgia licensure, 2 years of outpatient/inpatient experience, and required certifications (BLS/ACLS preferred).

Qualifications

• Masters degree required in nursing practice or physician assistant program.
• Experience: 2 years outpatient/inpatient setting.
• Licensure: APP/PA license required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within APP/PA scope under physician supervision.
• Refer, schedule procedures, and assist with discharge planning.
• Perform exams, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and manage high-acuity patients.
