Job summary

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) seeks a Supervisory Advanced Practice Provider to oversee Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners at IHSC sites. The role emphasizes leadership, onboarding, and clinical supervision of APPs, with direct patient care as needed and adherence to IHSC policies.

The position requires PA-C or NP licensure, leadership experience, and knowledge of correctional healthcare. Eligibility is limited to USPHS officers currently employed by IHSC.

Responsibilities

• Serve as direct supervisor and rater for APPs at IHSC sites.
• Provide leadership for onboarding and training of APPs.
• Participate in national APP training initiatives as required.
• Oversee credentialing and privileging processes.
• Coordinate APP work schedules and on-site meetings.
• Provide direct detainee care and supervise clinical practice.
• Collaborate with Clinical Director on clinical leadership.
