Job summary

Immigration and Customs Enforcement seeks an Advanced Practice Provider (O-3/O-4/O-5 Billet) to deliver detainee care, including evaluations, minor procedures, and medication prescriptions. The role operates under the Supervisory APP or Clinical Director as required and requires USPHS/CAD eligibility.

Responsibilities include comprehensive history and physicals, behavioral health support, and coordination of care with off-site consultants.

Qualifications

• Must meet the minimum education and certification requirements for either a nurse practitioner or physician assistant.
• Unrestricted state license as NP or PA and national board certification.
• CPR/BLS certification and DEA registration as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide detainee care, including evaluations, minor procedures, and prescribing medications.
• Work under Supervisory APP or Clinical Director as applicable.
• Attend on-site, regional, and national meetings as required.
• Mentor onboarding and training of APPs and participate in peer review.
