Job summary

PACCAR's Kenworth Truck Company in Kirkland, WA is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing - Technical Project Manager to lead manufacturing readiness for new products and programs. You will manage cross-functional projects, budgets, schedules, and risk in a matrix organization.

The role offers opportunities to shape industry-leading manufacturing processes, collaborate across PACCAR divisions, travel up to 15%, and deliver on-time results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; MS/MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive project development experience with leadership.
• Experience managing stage-gate projects in matrixed, multi-location environments.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; ability to present to senior management.
• PMP or PgMP certification preferred; Six Sigma training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide project management leadership for Advanced Manufacturing in support of new product development and operational projects.
• Coordinate program activities across multiple PACCAR divisions and departments.
• Lead activities to identify PACCAR factory requirements for new vehicle programs; includes budgets, changes, validation equipment, training, packaging, product flow, and infrastructure development.
• Coordinate manufacturing scope requests and obtain approval.
• Develop and manage assigned program budgets, action trackers, and schedules.
• Deliver assigned programs on time and on budget; maintain programs in tollgate phases.
• Communicate up, down, and across the organization, including to senior management; escalate issues as needed.
• Track and report metrics (readiness, defects, documentation, communication).
• Prepare and deliver program presentations.
• Coordinate plant input and feedback with affected PACCAR factories.
