As part of the talented Brunswick Boat Group (BBG) Technology Center team, you will be responsible for the advanced engineering and development of fiberglass, mechanical, electrical, laminate, and structural system designs for the Brunswick Boat Group Technology Center. This will require the use of Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) tools to generate 3D surface models for liners, decks, and small parts and strong competency with complex mechanism development. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand, walk, and sit. The employee is occasionally required to use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
The anticipated pay range for this position is $82,600 - $133,000 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. At Brunswick, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.
