Job summary

Mutual Aid Ambulance Service is seeking a certified AEMT to maintain readiness for EMS responses, drive to incidents, and provide advanced patient care per state protocols. You will document care, restock equipment, and coordinate with public safety partners to ensure safe outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current PA Advanced EMT certification with Medical Command eligibility.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.
• NAEMT Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support credentialing.
• Act 31 Mandatory Reporter Training.
• NIMS IS 700 and IS 100 training.
• Hazardous Materials recognition training.
• NREMT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain readiness of EMS equipment and vehicles between calls.
• Drive to and from incident scenes following dispatcher instructions.
• Establish scene safety and communicate hazards to responders.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessment and administer treatments per protocols.
• Document patient care reports accurately and timely.
• Restock equipment and decontaminate gear after engagements.
• Collaborate with EMS, fire, and law enforcement to ensure public safety.
