Job summary

Saigepartners in Waukesha, WI seeks an experienced CNC Programmer II – Advanced to convert complex blueprints into high-precision parts. You will develop, test, and optimize programs for Swiss, VTM, and horizontal turning centers, collaborating with Engineering and Machinists to meet tight tolerances.

The role requires Mastercam and SolidWorks proficiency, GD&T expertise, and a proven record in high-precision manufacturing.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of CNC programming experience in ISO 9001 environment.
• Advanced proficiency in Mastercam and SolidWorks.
• Expert GD&T interpretation of complex drawings.
• Strong ability to troubleshoot G-code and M-code at machine controllers.
• Thorough understanding of tooling, feeds, speeds, and workholding.
• Experience programming multi-axis turning centers with live tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop, edit, test, and optimize CNC programs for multi-axis turning centers.
• Utilize Mastercam and SolidWorks to create machining programs.
• Select tooling, speeds, feeds, and fixturing to maximize efficiency.
• Read complex drawings and apply GD&T for dimensional accuracy.
• Test and prove out programs on the shop floor, resolve issues.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Machinists to meet customer specs.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues on the shop floor.
• Identify continuous improvements to reduce cycle times and defects.
