Job summary

Aspen Technology is seeking an experienced Application Engineer to design, build, and configure Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) for electric utilities worldwide. In this role, you will work closely with customers to understand their needs, provide training, and perform system testing and integration.

With a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4+ years of industry experience, you will have the opportunity to tackle complex engineering problems and collaborate with leading technical experts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applications engineering, software engineering, or a related field.
• 4+ years of application engineering work experience.
• Experience in utilities or in an engineering support role, especially in the OMS or ADMS space.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute system build plans.
• Work closely with customers to understand operational needs and provide training.
• Perform system and acceptance testing with customers.
• Troubleshoot complex problems and lead workshops with customers.
