Job summary

Leidos is seeking an ADMS Technology Engineer to design, configure, develop, test, deploy, and support software, hardware, and integrated systems for grid operations. The role involves collaboration with analysts, product managers, and operators, with duties ranging from developing new capabilities to upgrading existing platforms.

The preferred location is South Plainfield, New Jersey, with on-site work three days per week and monthly travel to the NJ office if outside the area.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience with 8+ years of experience.
• Experience supporting or implementing ADMS, SCADA, OMS, DMS, or related utility operational technologies.
• Knowledge of utility operations, grid management systems, and real-time operational environments.
• Experience troubleshooting software, hardware, network, and system integration issues.
• Ability to analyze business and operational requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Experience supporting system deployments, upgrades, patches, and production releases.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, operational workflows, and end-user needs to translate them into technical solution designs, system configurations, and implementation plans.
• Perform peer reviews of designs, configurations, and deployment artifacts to ensure accuracy and cybersecurity compliance.
• Troubleshoot escalated issues, conduct root cause analysis, and propose short-term/workarounds and long-term actions.
• Monitor system performance and ensure ADMS functionality meets service levels and standards.
• Support deployment activities for new features, upgrades, patches, and defect resolutions across environments.
• Document procedures, configurations, troubleshooting steps, and operational practices.
