Job summary

Cognizant US is seeking an ADMS System Engineer in South Plainfield, NJ for a full-time role. The engineer will design, configure, deploy and support ADMS, SCADA, GIS, DMS modules and related interfaces.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, deployment support, and documentation to ensure reliability and compliance. The role requires hands-on work with Windows/Linux patching, virtualized environments, and collaboration with analysts, product managers, and operators to meet business

Qualifications

Experience with Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) architecture and integration.
Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
Experience patching Windows and Linux servers in enterprise environments.
Ability to design, configure, and deploy system components across development, test, and production.

Responsibilities

Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical designs and implementation plans.
Perform peer reviews of designs, configurations, and deployment artifacts for accuracy and cybersecurity alignment.
Troubleshoot escalated issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement short- and long-term fixes.
Monitor system performance and ensure ADMS meets service levels and regulatory standards.
Support deployment activities for new features and patches across environments.
Document procedures and configurations for knowledge transfer and repeatability.
