Job summary

Denison University invites an Admissions Officer to lead travel-driven recruitment and interview prospective students in targeted markets. You will partner with counselors, alumni, families, and Denison staff while upholding the university’s professional standards and mission.

Utilizing the Slate CRM, you will support admissions operations, analyze data, and contribute to building a diverse, talented class. A Bachelor’s degree and CRM experience are required; five+ years in admissions preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Experience in admission or enrollment management in higher education or transferable skills from corporate/non-profit sectors.
• Strong communication skills; ability to interact with diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with a CRM; proficiency in presenting and writing.
• Collaborative team player in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must have a current, valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute a travel schedule to support recruitment goals.
• Travel extensively to recruitment markets and participate in events.
• Conduct admission interviews and evaluate applications; make recommendations.
• Build relationships with college counselors, alumni, families, and Denison affiliates.
• Use the Slate CRM to support daily admissions operations and data-driven planning.
