Southern Careers Institute (SCI) seeks an Assistant Director of Admissions to lead our online admissions team. This role focuses on developing and implementing enrollment strategies, guiding recruitment efforts, and ensuring a high-quality student experience from inquiry to enrollment.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, 3–5 years in admissions within higher education, strong leadership, and a proven ability to mentor staff while aligning with regulatory and accreditation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Education, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of experience in admissions and enrollment management in higher education.
• Experience developing and implementing admissions strategies, policies, and procedures.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, develop and motivate teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and communicate admissions strategies in compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements.
• Evaluate admissions metrics to identify trends and potential challenges.
• Oversee admissions process from information sessions to onboarding of admitted students.
• Collaborate with academic and student services to build a communications plan for prospective students.
• Supervise, train, and mentor the admissions team to achieve goals.
• Foster relationships with community and local organizations to promote SCI’s programs.
