Job summary

South Texas Vo-Tech, part of Ancora Education, seeks a Senior Admissions Representative in Corpus Christi. You will interface with prospective students to advocate for enrollment, explaining program features and guiding applicants through the process while meeting activity standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-year experience in sales and/or customer service.
• Experience with Google products (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Gmail) preferred.
• Excellent verbal communication, particularly telephonic, and good written communication skills.
• Persistence with a positive attitude and self-motivated work style.
• Mature, positive and collaborative interpersonal skills.
• Ability to effectively use school systems, databases and tools.

Responsibilities

• Consistently operate within and evaluate monthly activity against minimum activity standards.
• Develop and manage action plans to meet qualitative performance standards.
• Assist prospective students through the admissions process in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Use telephone and in-person interviews, plus text messaging and email to identify student prospects and determine educational needs.
• Develop rapport with prospective students and maintain contact throughout enrollment cycle.
• Partner with Financial Aid and Academics to ensure high level of service.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
• Ability to adapt to changes in schedule.
• Ability to communicate effectively and provide a professional impression to students and staff from diverse backgrounds.
• Ability to work individually and as part of a team in a regulated environment.
• Assist with various admissions tasks as needed.
