McKinsey & Company in Tampa is seeking a driven HR Operations professional to manage day-to-day HR processes, including benefits, tuition reimbursement, and the full onboarding/offboarding life cycle for firm Members across the Americas. You will be a part of our Human Resources Operations team based in our Tampa office.
The Global HR Operations team provides HR support to primarily Americas-based colleagues, as well as thought partnership on specialized topics like onboarding, offboarding, benefits, and background verifications. The team has a broad scope of responsibility across the HR spectrum and is dedicated to the practice of risk management and continuous operational process improvement.
You’ll cooperate closely with our counterpart HR Operations teams in San Jose, Costa Rica, Gurugram, India, and Poznan, Poland to align on centralized, global HR processes, and other teams such as local HR, Talent Attraction, Professional Development, Finance, Benefits, Global Onboarding and IT teams.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of a variety of HR processes and programs, including but not limited to benefits, recoupments, tuition reimbursement program, in collaboration with the respective teams. You will support the full life cycle of our firm Members, including case management of the full onboarding and offboarding processes, with a risk mitigation mindset.
You will orchestrate digital onboarding for new McKinsey colleagues across multiple locations in the Americas regions including initiating and monitoring background checks of new hires. You will aid in addressing concerns, solving complex HR issues and administering general policies in collaboration with regional HR teams throughout the US. You will be the first point of contact for, and communicate effectively with, firm Members on benefits, payroll, and other HR matters via e‑mail and phone.
You will be responsible for collaborating and effectively communicating well with all stakeholders including but not limited to Payroll teams, Benefits teams, Recruiting teams, and regional HR teams. You will be responsible for managing data in McKinsey's People Systems in a timely, accurate manner. You may also complete analysis and reporting of HR data with the use of firm databases to maintain the integrity of the data. You will focus on continuous process improvement to drive efficiency and consistent team performance, including defining best practices and SOPs, active knowledge sharing and championing HR projects within the team as needed.
You will help foster a collaborative and positive team environment. You will assist with the training of new HR Operations team members over time. You will manage and support multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, often of varying degrees and difficulty, with differing levels of priority. As the HR Operations function continues to grow, there will be opportunities to expand expertise and support across the Americas region or globally.
