Job summary

McKinsey & Company is seeking a part-time apprentice in New Jersey to support the full-recruiting lifecycle. You will work with the Talent Attraction team and client service professionals, handling data in the ATS, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews and events.

The role emphasizes professional development, collaboration, and exposure to a global, high-performance environment with structured training and mentoring.

Qualifications

  • Recent graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Basic business knowledge and ability to learn quickly.
  • Excellent customer service skills and collaboration orientation.
  • Willingness to travel and work outside standard hours.

Responsibilities

  • Support the full-recruiting life cycle from candidate attraction to offer.
  • Utilize Applicant Tracking System for data management and process tracking.
  • Provide candidate support and coordinate recruiting events and interview logistics.
  • Assist with resume screening and collaborate with Talent Attraction (TA) team and CSPs.
  • Participate in training sessions and contribute to team projects.

YOUR IMPACT

You will support the full-recruiting life cycle, from candidate attraction to offer, while working closely with Talent Attraction (TA) team members and client service professionals (CSPs).


You will be based inNew Jersey as part of our TA team, supporting various administrative tasks and projects, including data management using the Applicant Tracking System, providing candidate support, coordinating recruiting events and interview logistics, and assisting with resume screening. You will collaborate with TA team members and CSPs, participate in relevant training sessions, and contribute to select team projects. Your work offers practical experience across elements of the full-recruiting life cycle, with opportunities to build professional relationships and enhance organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


  • Recently graduated with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field

  • Basic business knowledge

  • Ability to independently manage and complete tasks with minimal supervision

  • High level of maturity and professionalism

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Excellent customer service skills with a strong orientation towards collaboration in a team environment

  • Flexibility to travel and work outside standard office hours as needed

  • 6-month availability with no more than 35 hours per week

  • As a part of our commitment to apprenticeship and community, consistent and predictable in-person/in-office working time is essential
