You will serve as a key operations partner supporting faculty, lab teams, department leaders, visitors, and internal partners to keep priorities moving and day-to-day operations running smoothly. You will manage calendars, coordinate meetings and events, handle budgeting, invoices, reports, and special projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in administration or related area; exception: Bachelor's degree and 2+ years.
• Strong organization, judgment, business acumen and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the communication liaison and administrative contact for meeting scheduling, event management, coordination, logistics, and vendor management.
• Prepare ad hoc and recurring reports, analyze trends and communicate insights.
• Support the planning and coordination of department or organization-wide events/meetings.
• Work with managers to manage and monitor the department budget.
• Take lead in coordination of small projects or support large/special projects and executive calendars.
• Coordinate recruitment itineraries for departmental visitors or new recruits including senior members.
• Contribute to documents (presentations/manuscripts/grant writing) with higher independence and guidance to others.
