Job summary

You will conduct experiments and projects independently under the overall direction of the Principal Investigator, designing studies to address basic science and clinical research questions. Responsibilities include developing new protocols, training lab staff, processing and summarizing data, and contributing to manuscripts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in relevant scientific area is required.
• Ten (10) years relevant work experience is required with Bachelor's degree.
• Eight (8) years relevant work experience is required with a Master's degree.
• Five (5) years relevant work experience is required with a PhD.

Responsibilities

• Conducts experiments/projects independently under overall direction of the PI and/or more senior scientists.
• Develops new research protocols, techniques and procedures.
• Identifies experimental data pertinent to the analysis problem and summarizes results.
• Presents research to colleagues and may co-author publications.
• Provides lab operation support and advises on equipment and maintenance.
