The City of Scottsdale seeks a Senior Administrative Assistant to provide advanced administrative and operational support to the Police Department Training Unit. You will coordinate training programs, maintain records, prepare reports, manage purchasing and budgets, and liaise with staff and vendors in a fast-paced public safety environment.
The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
The Senior Administrative Assistant provides advanced administrative and operational support to the Scottsdale Police Department Training Unit. Responsibilities include coordinating training programs and schedules, maintaining training records and databases, preparing reports and correspondence, processing purchasing and budget documentation, coordinating with department personnel and outside vendors, and supporting the day-to-day operations of the Training Unit. The position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, confidentiality, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced public safety environment.
Anticipated starting salary for this position may be up to mid-point depending on candidate’s experience and internal equity. The full salary range is listed above and mid-point for this position is $32.58/hour or $67,766.40/annually.

Years of experience are based on a work schedule of 2,080 hours per year for full-time positions and 1,040 hours per year for part-time positions, and while work experience may substitute for education on a year-for-year basis.
