Qualifications

• Experience providing administrative and analytical support to upper management.
• Involves budget development, financial analysis, and reporting of data in complex environments.
• Grant writing and grants/contracts administration experience preferred.
• Experience addressing housing, community engagement, and related programs.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs a wide variety of administrative and analytical support duties for upper management or county-wide initiatives.
• Directs and manages assigned special projects and programs (economic development, grants, housing, HR, etc.).
• Coordinates input from county management, staff, community, and external organizations.
• Develops administrative policies and procedures and reviews pending legislation at multiple government levels.
• Provides budgeting support including analysis, projections, and Board-focused reporting.
• Represents the department on committees and to the Board of Supervisors and other offices.
• Leads development of new techniques, programs, and policies to support housing goals and community initiatives.
• Prepares annual budget, reviews requests, and makes recommendations on allocations and personnel.
• Oversees financial analysis, budget development, and enterprise fund forecasting; liaises with external auditors.
