Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Sr. ADK / LangGraph Engineer to support our L400 Advanced Development capability. You will build the agent workflows that plan, route, use tools, and stop safely for mission-critical Google Cloud and AI solutions.

The role emphasizes advanced Python, Google ADK, LangGraph, Pydantic, async systems, tool calling, and secure practices. Hybrid or remote work with travel to customer sites is required, with DC/NoVA area preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software, cloud, data, cybersecurity, systems, or AI engineering experience.
• 3+ years of advanced hands-on experience in production or regulated environments.
• Deep experience with Advanced Python, Google ADK, LangGraph, Pydantic, async systems, tool calling, memory, testing, and Cloud Run/GKE.

About the Role

• Implement typed state, nodes, routing, persistence, tool contracts, termination, tests, tracing, and deployment
• Design solutions using advanced Python, Google ADK, LangGraph, Pydantic, async systems, and tool calling
• Apply least-privilege and secure practices throughout delivery
• Mentor team members and contribute reusable standards
• Support RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities and customer briefings

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of software, cloud, data, cybersecurity, systems, or AI engineering experience
• 3+ years of advanced hands-on experience in production or regulated environments
• Deep experience with Advanced Python, Google ADK, LangGraph, Pydantic, async systems, tool calling, memory, testing, and Cloud Run/GKE

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience architecting agentic, GraphRAG, or AI-security systems
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Developer or generative AI skill badges

Clearance & Location

• Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred.
• Hybrid or remote with travel to customer sites (~10-25%).
• Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area preferred.
