PGTEK is hiring a Sr. GenAI / ML Engineer to support Federal and DoD programs. You will build Gemini and ML services, moving from architecture to demonstrated capability. The role requires securing practices and working with RMF/FedRAMP processes.

Candidates should have strong Python, cloud, and ML experience, plus hands-on Google Cloud exposure. Hybrid or remote with travel to customer sites is expected, with Washington, DC area preferred.

• 2+ years of hands-on Google Cloud, AI/ML, data, or production-platform experience.

Sr. GenAI / ML Engineer — Federal and DoD Programs

About the Role
PGTEK is seeking a Sr. GenAI / ML Engineer to support our L300 Accelerating Expansion capability. You will build the working Gemini and ML services that move us from architecture to demonstrated capability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Python services, model/RAG logic, experiments, tests, deployment packages, and production monitoring
• Implement solutions using Python, Vertex AI, Gemini, ADK, RAG, and ML
• Apply least-privilege and secure practices
• Mentor team members and contribute reusable standards
• Support RMF/FedRAMP/DoD authorization activities

• 5+ years of software, cloud, data, SRE, test, or ML engineering experience
• 2+ years of hands‑on Google Cloud, AI/ML, data, or production‑platform experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Google Cloud Professional Machine Learning Engineer or Professional Cloud Developer
• Experience operating production AI services with CI/CD, monitoring, and rollback

Clearance & Location
Active Secret clearance required; TS/SCI eligibility preferred. Hybrid or remote with travel to customer sites (~10–25%). Washington, DC / Northern Virginia area preferred.
