Job summary

Seagate Technology’s Rapid Prototyping Group in Shakopee seeks an operator for the 3D Prototyping Lab. You will run and maintain 3D printers, scanners, lasers, and collaborate with engineers to turn concepts into physical prototypes.

You will evaluate CAD models, select manufacturing processes, perform post-processing, and ensure part quality while supporting continuous improvement and lab efficiency.

Qualifications

• Interest in additive manufacturing and digital fabrication.
• Experience operating technical equipment and following detailed procedures.
• Ability to interpret CAD models and drawings.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and optimize additive manufacturing systems.
• Process customer requests and produce high-quality prototype parts.
• Work with engineers to transform concepts into physical prototypes.
