Job summary

3M Center in Maplewood, MN is seeking a Laboratory Technician within the CRPL Rapid Prototyping and Design Center. You will operate 3D printing and other additive manufacturing equipment to rapidly create quality prototype parts for 3M technology and manufacturing efforts.

The role also includes post-processing responsibilities and close collaboration with team members to fulfill internal customer requests with rapid turnaround.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED completed and verified prior to start.
• One year of combined lab/manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.

Responsibilities

• Advance the mission of the 3M CRPL within 3M Rapid Prototyping and Design Center.
• Operate a variety of 3D printing and additive manufacturing equipment to rapidly create quality prototype parts.
• Responsible for the post-processing operation.
• Collaborate with team to fulfill a wide range of internal customer requests for rapid prototyping.
