CARIAD, Inc. in Mountain View, CA is seeking a Technical Engineer III for ADAS integration. You will set up and maintain test benches and vehicles, wire harnesses, and ECUs while supporting automated driving across multiple platforms.

This hands-on role requires hardware/software skills, strong diagnostics, and collaboration with global teams, including Germany. A B.S. in electrical engineering or CS and 5+ years of automotive engineering are preferred, with a Master’s degree as a plus.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, CS, or related field with 5+ years of automotive experience.
• 5+ years of automotive engineering experience coordinating test or development fleets.
• Ability to interpret schematics and assemble wiring harnesses.
• Strong diagnostics, debugging, and data collection skills.

Aufgaben

• Assemble and configure test benches and vehicles with ECUs, HCPs, displays, switches, and harnesses per schematics.
• Perform software flashing and hardware updates on test modules and vehicles.
• Conduct functional verification via traces and logs; support debugging and bug-fix validation.
• Use simulation tools to verify system behavior and collect traces for analysis.
• Coordinate vehicle logistics, inventory, and compliance across teams.
