Sentara Health in Charlottesville, VA seeks a Senior Coding Specialist- Acute Care who will support daily operations, ensure quality and service, and help meet regulatory requirements. You will serve as a technical resource for the coding team and contribute to process improvements.

The role requires 2 years of coding experience and CCS, CIC, CCA, RHIT, CPC, or COC certifications; remote work from VA or NC may be considered for eligible candidates.

Qualifikationen

• 2 years of Coding experience required.
• CCS, CIC, CCA, RHIT, CPC, or COC certification(s) required.
• 1 year Health Information Management experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Assists the Team Coordinator/Manager with daily operations, coordination of work, quality and service, achievement of operating center goals and objectives, customer satisfaction.
• Serves as technical resource for other team members through participation in quality control and improvement activities, staff development activities and daily support to team members.
• Assists Team Coordinator/Manager in facilitating and monitoring the work processes of a designated team.
