Job summary

Pacific Life in Newport Beach, CA is seeking a Senior Actuary to join the Institutional Division's PRT pricing team. On-site 4 days and remote 1 day, with relocation support.

The role focuses on designing pricing strategies for Pension Risk Transfer and overseeing pricing schedules to forecast scenarios and mitigate risks. You will partner with Sales, engage stakeholders, analyze profitability, and translate insights into data-driven pricing decisions while leveraging VBA and Prophet expertise.

Qualifications

• FSA with pricing, product development, and modeling experience.
• Bachelor degree in actuarial science or related fields.
• Direct experience with Pension Risk Transfer products.
• Strong ownership and ability to drive results.
• Mentorship and teamwork experience.
• Ability to adapt in fast-paced environments.
• Proficiency in Excel & VBA.
