Munich Re US seeks an AVP & Actuary to act as a senior owner of CPO standards, bringing independent actuarial judgment and governance leadership across material transactions.

You will partner with pricing, valuation, finance, risk, and business stakeholders to review complex deals and reinforce enterprise pricing standards while shaping tools, methodologies, and assumptions. The role invites leadership responsibilities with potential to manage a team.

Qualifications

• FSA designation required.
• 10+ years of actuarial experience with a strong focus on pricing and valuation.
• Experience leading teams or mentoring actuarial talent is preferred.
• Experience in Retail Life, PRT, Financial Reinsurance, Group Life/LTD, DI or LTC is valued.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and enforce enterprise pricing frameworks across business lines.
• Review pricing for transactions meeting materiality, complexity, or risk thresholds.
• Monitor pricing performance, identify remediation actions and drive updates to frameworks or assumptions.
• Lead cross-functional forums to drive alignment and adoption of CPO standards and governance.
